Make an
impact today
This Thanksgiving HOLIDAY, La Familia Project, Friends of Crown Heights, and Spydah Touch are coming together to feed, clothe, and uplift our Brooklyn neighbors at MSK394.
On November 26 from 5–7PM, we’ll gather at 188 Rochester Ave to share a hot meal, warm hearts, and community care — because no one should be left behind this holiday season.
🌟 Where Does Your Money Go?
Every dollar you give directly supports community care:
🍽 Hot meals for families, elders, and youth facing food insecurity
🧥 Warm winter clothing for children and adults in need
👟 Sneakers and everyday essentials for those who go without
🎒 Supplies and resources that empower year-round youth programs
💛 On-site volunteers & logistics support to make the day flow with love
Together, we’re turning compassion into action — one donation, one meal, one moment at a time.
Whether you give $10 or $100, every dollar fuels a table where everyone belongs. If you can’t donate, join us — we’re also collecting items and welcoming volunteers!
👉🏾 Donate today and help Brooklyn rise together.

Why give?
-

Community Youth and YA sports programs provide an excellent opportunity for young folks to get outside, be active, and learn important skills like teamwork, leadership, focus, and discipline.
-

Everyone, especially young folks, deserve the opportunity to participate in sports and arts programming regardless of their income level and everyone deserves to be able to do this with consistent access to wellness and mental health resources because life gets challenging sometimes. Unfortunately, the cost of sustainable programming and wellness resources can be prohibitively expensive for many families. By donating to youth programs, businesses can help ensure that every child has the chance to participate and reap the benefits that go along with it. This helps promote a sense of inclusivity and community within your neighborhood and beyond.

By donating to LFP programming, businesses can play a crucial role in promoting physical activity and healthy habits in their own communities.

Community Enrichement programs in Sports, Arts, and Wellness are often run by local nonprofits or community organizations. These groups rely on the support of businesses and individuals to keep their programs running. When businesses donate to these programs, they’re not only supporting the folks who participate, but also the local economy. By investing, businesses can help create jobs, stimulate economic activity, and strengthen their communities.

For Business, corporate social responsibility (CSR) is becoming increasingly important to consumers. More and more, people are choosing to do business with companies that prioritize social and environmental responsibility. By donating to community programming, businesses can showcase their commitment to CSR and demonstrate that they care about more than just profits. This can help improve brand reputation and loyalty, and even attract new customers who share your values.
For individuals, donating can help you learn more about the issues facing your community and what you can do to help and contributing changes can be made more quickly to better serve community needs.

Donating to community programs provides the necessary financial resources to run and expand initiatives that directly benefit the local population, allowing organizations to offer services like education, healthcare, food assistance, and recreational activities, ultimately improving the overall quality of life within the community.
“When you get to know the young people in your community, you get to know the needs of the community, and can pinpoint the resources needed to create positive change for the future of your own community.”
